Demolition Dreaming's second ever screening was two sold-out shows at the Trylon Microcinema. It was paired with "Skidrow," John Bacich's narrated movies of the life around his bar in the Gateway District. James Eli Shiffer, who wrote the book, The King of Skid Row, was around to sign copies of his book, and the whole show was the work of Peter Schilling. My film was accompanied by Dreamland Faces and Jill Underwood. Here are some photos:
Demolition Dreaming premiered at the Square Lake Film and Music Festival on August 20th in a screening with live soundtrack by Dreamland Faces and Jill Underwood. The film projected on the big screen under the stars at the beautiful tree-lined hillside where the festival takes place.

It was a pretty amazing night. Special thanks go the Paul Creager, organizer of the festival, who made it all possible.
Bill Lindeke wrote a pretty incredible piece about Demolition Dreaming in MinnPost today, which is the day before the premiere at the Square Lake Festival tomorrow. He added a great deal of context to help folks understand the film with information about the Gateway District and my process of making it. Here is the story.
Dreamland Faces played a live score to a 10 minute sneak peak of Demolition Dreaming at The Black Forest Inn in late February. Look for the whole film with live music and narration at the Square Lake Film Festival on August 20!
The work on Demolition Dreaming is wrapping up. Dreamland Faces has created a great score for it and we are looking at premiering the movie at the Square Lake Film and Music Festival on August 20 2016 with a live performance of the score and narration. This short video looks at the making of the movie.
